Modern agricultural practices have created several soil issues resulting in reduced plant performance and reduction in yields. 3Tier has committed significant resources in solving several specific problems presented to our organization. Over the past few years, 3Tier has been asked to find a cost effective solution to reduce phosphorus build-up in manure or effluent treated soils and we did. 3Tier saw that the Louisiana farmers hit by Hurricane Rita had no one working on a solution to regenerate their contaminated farm lands, so 3Tier went there and found a solution. 3Tier identified that many of our current chemicals and fertilizers significantly altered the microbial balance of our soils creating greater disease and insect pressure, so we found an alternative solution to repair the soil and improve the structure and performance of the soils. Finally, we were asked to create an alternative program to replace the use of Methyl Bromide in the production of melons in Latin America and we did.
